They require players to contribute and interact in such a way that the ingredients of a successful team are displayed and exploited effectively:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>encouragement of personal contribution;\n<li>good communication;\n<li>effective co-ordination;\n<li>planning and organising before acting;\n<li>problem solving through creativity;\n<li>involvement in decision making;\n<li>trust and team values.\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Learning through action<\/h3>\n<p>Each exercise is designed to require certain skills and behaviours in order for the team to achieve its objectives.
